Comic Sketch #1 David Finch - Foggy Nelson

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

One of the great things about meeting comic book artists is that they will sketches for you at conventions and in store signings. It is like getting a singer to write a song only for you or an actor giving you a private performance. I like this one because David Finch is one of my favorite artists and a really nice guy. I got this at The Comic Asylum's opening weekend festivities. Look for more sketches on this blog coming soon.

You had David Finch do a sketch of Foggy? Foggy?! That's either really funny or really cool. I can't decide.

I think it is cool, it is for my Daredevil sketch book and as you will see soon I have a lot of DD sketches and as much as I liked Finch's Daredevil I really liked his Foggy. Plus this gives me a unique sketch he said it was the first and possibly the last Foggy sketch he will ever do. He does DD, Spidy, and Wolverine at every signing and I think he appreciated the challenge.
